I drove to the NY Bagels of Rhode Island to get bagels for my son who is visiting. It was rainy, cold and foggy. I walked into the bagel store and felt the place buzzing. A customer was pointing to a table. I turned to see what all the fuss was about and the sign on the table read: Free Candy. Could this be true? Piles of candy free for the taking?I ordered my bagels and confirmed that I could take some candy. I got a candy bar for my son and collected a few more to give to my friend who is a teacher. What a small but impactful way to deliver a smile to customers.
