I made a New Year’s resolution that I will share an act of kindness every day. In an era where hate speech has become normalized, kindness needs a much stronger voice. Science has found that kindness creates a ripple effect that can transform communities and build a culture of kindness and empathy. When we see someone being kind, it motivates us to be kind.

Will you help me give kindness a stronger voice?

My first kindness: I sent thank you cards to people who made the holidays so special.

The science of kindness:  Researchers found that expressing gratitude in a handwritten note boosts positive emotions and well-being for both the letter-writer and the recipient. It's a win-win! Plus, everyone likes to get mail. Cost: Postage stamp and cards under $10. Cheers to a kinder 2025!
