Day 86 of a year of Kindness

I returned home from traveling and felt completely exhausted. As a result, I worked in my pajamas and did nothing kind (except rest, which is important). However, I realized that I could do a kind and simple environmentally-friendly act without even putting on my shoes. I cut up some plastic six pack rings. It’s an easy and free way to help do no harm to animals.

Science of kindness: Research shows that by cutting up plastic rings, it prevents entanglement and injury to animals. Being kind to animals is a transformative practice that often extends beyond animals, making us kinder, more compassionate individuals overall. Animals, who are sensitive beings with the capacity to feel fear, joy, and love, deserve our care and respect. When we practice kindness toward them, we cultivate empathy, patience, and humility, essential traits that enhance all our relationships. This interconnectedness is at the heart of what it means to be truly kind #kindness #kindnessiscontagious @10kindnessclub #kindnessisfree #kindnesstoanimals
