Day 55 of a year of Kindness 

I gave some unexpected compliments. During my weekend with friends, we had some very sweet conversations about my friend’s husbands. Julie’s husband, Mike, made us a delicious loaf of sourdough bread. Lib’s husband, also a Mike, made us tamales and margaritas last night. Sometimes we forget to tell people that we’ve been saying nice things about them. So, I gave the Mikes (and their wives) each compliment cards so they knew, specifically, what nice things we said about them. It also reminds me that I can do that whenever I am part of a positive conversation. It’s lovely to know somebody out there thinks you're awesome.
