Day 93 of a year of Kindness
I brought my friend, Amy, some pink tulips. I have known Amy since I was 14-years-old and she loves my family. In particular, she loves my Mother. She visits my 86-year-old Mother every other week and always brings her flowers. Every. Single. Time. She also checks on her more often if I’m traveling. They have a sweet relationship and the flowers always brighten my Mother’s day. So, I brought Amy some tulips today - one of the first flowers of spring - to brighten her day. They did! Flowers are simply the best at spreading cheer.
Science of kindness: Research shows, without a doubt, that flowers make you happy. You can give them away, buy them for yourself, grow them or stroll through a field of them - it’s all going to make you happy. #kindness #kindnessiscontagious @10kindnessclub #kindnessisfree #flowerpower #tulips
