Day 106 of a year of Kindness

I went to an early morning yoga class at the YMCA, which was already a stretch. I borrowed all of my yoga blocks and accessories from the community closet. Our yoga teacher, Lori, played a Cat Stevens soundtrack so I did yoga poses while taking an emotional roller coaster ride through high school. Going to yoga and taking time to sit quietly with your thoughts is a kind thing to do for yourself.After class, an 80-year-old woman introduced herself - and her age - and asked me if I attended the local college. It was dim and she clearly had some sight issues, but she became my new best friend. I will go back for sure!
